The new DirectX really changed the way games were played and made the user experience more real. 2011 was a great year for the DirectX 11 where we saw releases from many prominent titles such as Battlefield 3 (EA), Need for Speed: The Run (EA), Saints Row (THQ), Dirt 3 (Codemasters), Crysis 2 (EA), and Batman: Arkham City (Rock Steady), Anno 2070 (BlueByte).
