Best Video Streaming Proxies That You Should Know

The internet was designed as a free place for the whole world to come together and interact on a broad scale. But doesn’t it just bite when a particular website you wish to visit is blocked on your network? Maybe it is a social media site your international friends use, or perhaps YouTube, the popular video-sharing website. We have rounded up 10 web proxies that currently offer a way to reach video sites in a browser. Their speed and availability can vary by country, network, and video, so a proxy that works for one person may not work for everyone.

One small heads-up before you start: web proxies handle the page requests that pass through them. Avoid signing in or entering passwords and payment details through a public proxy, and remember that some services may struggle with high-resolution video.

10. ProxyMule.com

ProxyMule has a dedicated YouTube page and works directly in a browser, with no separate app or account needed to try it. Paste in a video link and see how it performs on your connection.

The service says it can handle streaming sites, though playback quality and speed may vary, so it is best treated as a handy option for casual viewing rather than a guaranteed HD fix.

9. ProxySite.com

ProxySite.com keeps things straightforward: open its YouTube page, choose a US or European server, enter the address you want to visit, and give it a try.

The site advertises HD video support, and its server choices can be useful if one route is slow or unavailable. As with any browser proxy, some videos or features may not load exactly as they do on YouTube itself.

8. CroxyProxy.com

CroxyProxy is built for browser-based access to popular sites, including YouTube, and it says it supports video and audio playback. There is no software to install: enter a web address or search query and open it through the proxy.

The free version is easy to test, though busy periods and demanding streams can affect playback.

7. Hide My Ass

Hide My Ass is one of the best web proxies out there. The server has established itself as one of the best ones for anonymous viewing and video streaming. It works equally well with YouTube and other websites.

The service initially became available in 2005, and ever since then, its servers have been continually targeted and taken down by various hackers. Given the fact that they have lasted so long in such an environment, it just goes to show their credibility and determination.

6. 4everproxy.com

4everproxy offers a free web proxy with a choice of server locations. Enter a website address, select a route, and the service fetches the page in your browser. Its network also powers Blewpass, which makes it another option to try if you want a different route to a video site. Speeds can vary, and longer streams may take a little patience.

5. VPNBook.com/webproxy

VPNBook has a free browser proxy and a separate YouTube proxy, with US, UK, and Canadian server options. You do not need to download anything or create an account to test it.

Pick a location, enter the YouTube address, and see whether the stream comes through clearly on your network.

4. BlockAway.net

BlockAway is a browser-based proxy that lists YouTube among the sites it supports. It is quick to try when you only need to open a page or watch a short clip, and there is no software setup.

Video quality depends on the route and the load on the service, so it may take some trial and error to find a smooth session.

3. Blewpass.com

Blewpass.com is another famous proxy to view blocked video content. This proxy has dedicated servers that run anonymizing codes that scramble the IP addresses of the users to securely hide them and cause them to blend in with the traffic that is already accessing the website. This allows users to safely visit any single website they want without worrying about any blockage or detection.

Blewpass.com works great for many countries that prohibit access to YouTube.

2. hide.me Free Proxy

hide.me provides a free web proxy that runs in a browser tab and offers a small selection of European server locations. It can be useful for opening blocked pages without installing an app.

The service is designed for general browsing, so if you are trying to watch a full video, test a short clip first and switch to another option if playback stalls.

1. YouTubeUnblocked.live

YouTubeUnblocked is a browser-based proxy with a dedicated YouTube interface. Enter a search or a video address, and it will try to load the page through its service. It advertises free access and servers in the US and Europe; whether a particular video plays smoothly will still depend on the service’s current capacity and your connection.

Proxy sites come and go, and access can differ from one network to another. These services were checked on September 29, 2026; that is no promise that every one will be reachable from every country or keep working indefinitely.
