Information we receive
We receive information you choose to submit through comments, contact forms, or newsletter sign-ups. Please do not include sensitive personal information in public comments.

IP addresses and online identifiers may be personal information; they are not necessarily anonymous.
Comments
When you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address, and comment entered in the form, along with your IP address and browser user agent information. These details help us moderate discussions, identify spam, and address abuse.
If your comment is approved, your displayed name and comment may be visible publicly. Your email address, IP address, and browser user agent are not displayed with the comment.
How information is used
Information is used to deliver and protect the website, respond to messages, publish and moderate comments, and prevent abuse. Newsletter details are used to manage subscriptions when you choose to subscribe. When active, analytics helps us understand site use, and advertising supports the site and may personalize or measure ads.
Technical processing needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse can continue when optional analytics and advertising cookies are rejected.

Changing your cookie choice
Use Accept All or Reject All in the cookie banner, or select Customize, change the analytics and advertising switches, and select Save preferences. You can reopen these controls using the Cookie settings button in the footer.
Your saved choice lasts for 180 days in that browser, unless you change it or clear the relevant cookies sooner. Choices do not automatically carry across browsers or devices. Automatic regional defaults are not recorded as an explicit acceptance.
Rejecting or disabling a category stops the corresponding tracking controlled by our cookie settings and may reload the page. The site attempts to remove associated tracking cookies it can access. This does not erase information already sent to a provider or remove cookies stored on another provider’s domain. You can also manage stored cookies through your browser settings.
Google analytics and advertising

Retention and your requests
The 180-day cookie-choice period is not a deletion period for all information. Comments, correspondence, technical records, and provider-held information may have different retention periods depending on their purpose, service settings, and applicable requirements.
