10. Jurassic World

Considered a landmark in filmmaking, Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park is equipped with magnificent visual effects to make dinosaurs as real as possible. While the two sequels did not live up to the mark like its predecessor, the fans were still hungry for more.

After fourteen long years since Jurassic Park III, unseasoned director Colin Trevorrow has taken the responsibility of directing the reboot movie of the series to bring back the frightening dinosaurs to the silver screen.

9. Fifty Shades of Grey

Author E. L. James took the world by storm when she released her erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey. Dominating several best-selling booklists on several occasions, things only heated up when a film adaption was announced.

Focusing on a complicated BDSM relationship between the wealthy Christian Grey and a shy literature student Ana Steele, the movie will undoubtedly be the most sensual – if not the best – flick of the entire year.

8. The Hateful Eight

After enjoying a ton of critical and financial success from the western film Django Unchained, the film-making genius Quentin Tarantino has plans to make another one set a few years after the Civil War in Wyoming.

Starring frequent collaborators Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, and Kurt Russell, the movie is about eight westerns who have no choice but to seek refuge on a mountain pass due to a blizzard.

7. Terminator Genisys

Some franchises seriously do not know when to stop and Terminator is no exception. Still, that does not stop its fifth installment from being one of the most anticipated films of 2015.

Starring none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger himself as the cyborg assassin Terminator, the movie aims to “reset” the franchise by not only acting as a sequel but also as a prequel and a reboot.

6. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2

One of the best adventure thriller movie series of the present generation, the second cinematic part of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is only ten months away from hitting cinemas worldwide.

With Francis Lawrence and Jennifer Lawrence returning as the director and Katniss Everdeen respectively, the movie is not only the final chapter of the Hunger Games franchise but also the final acting appearance of Hollywood legend Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

5. Mission: Impossible V

After four years, Tom Cruise is back with a bang as he will reprise the role of IMF agent Ethan Hunt for the fifth time to crack down on another mission that only he is capable of.

Directed by Christopher McQuarrie who previously worked with Cruise in the 2012 thriller film Jack Reacher, the movie is promised to be one of the biggest blockbusters by Paramount Pictures this year.

4. Spectre

Starring the talented Daniel Craig in his fourth time as agent 007 James Bond, Spectre will be the twenty-fourth installment of the much-celebrated and esteemed James Bond franchise.

With Sam Mendes returning as the director along with a team of writers from the two-time Academy Award-winning movie Skyfall, only time will tell how Mr. Bond will impress the audience this time.

3. Furious 7

The world fell into a state of despair when actor Paul Walker died in a horrific car accident back in 2013. Burned beyond recognition, the fans of The Fast and the Furious franchise wondered how the sequel will be handled.

Starring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and of course Walker, the seventh installment of the series is not much far and will be one hell of an action thriller movie.

2. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Marking as the first step of the Star Wars sequel trilogy and produced by Walt Disney Studios, J. J. Abrams takes the coveted seat of the director with the aim of making an impact on the single most amazing space franchise of all time.

Set 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, the movie stars new actors and the return of several other names who made the legacy of Star Wars what it is today such as Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill.

1. The Avengers: Age of Ultron

All the six members of Avengers trembled with fear when the menacing robot Ultron revealed that his actions are no longer controlled by strings. Bent on erasing mankind from the planet, this will be the biggest task of the superhero team since its formation.

Apart from Ultron, the villains Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Vision are also set to appear. With only three months away, fans are eager to know how the foes will be defeated and whether or not the unlikely members will see eye to eye.
