Indeed Get Out was able to present a new internet meme featuring a shocked Daniel Kaluuya with tears pouring down his face but the movie is certainly much more than what it is being publicized for.
Get Out focuses on the relationship between Chris and Rose that involves fascinating content such as shock, racism, and love. Add the spine-chilling element of horror into the mix and you got yourself a perfect movie to watch.
5. Phantom Thread
After enthralling the audience and critics with his magnificent portrayal of Abraham Lincoln in the 2012 biopic Lincoln, Daniel Day-Lewis won the much-deserved Academy Award for Best Leading Actor for the role and fans were desperate to see his next flick but had to wait five long years.
As one of the most reclusive actors of his generation, Day-Lewis retreated back to his farmhouse in Country Wicklow in Ireland while Lincoln basked in fame and acclaim. When the actor returned after five years to star in Phantom Thread, he made it clear that it was his final movie before his retirement and undoubtedly gave one of his most memorable performances of all time.

It is always amazing to see the immensely talented actor Willem Dafoe so it is beyond anyone’s guess why his scenes were scrapped from the terrible Justice League. Nonetheless, his acting abilities were utilized better in the comedy-drama The Florida Project.
