Technological advancements have swept the world, and online interaction is the norm of the day. Social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and more, has given us unrestricted access to one another (friends, family, fans, celebs, etc). This media also gives celebrities a platform to communicate with their fans and share their lives with the world. And though, it gives them the freedom to share their thoughts with people around the globe, at the same time with this freedom comes great responsibility. Some celebs, unfortunately, don’t understand this and show irresponsible behavior leading to some of the worst social media blunders imaginable. 25. 50 Cent Acts Like a Crybaby
The famous rapper Curtis James Jackson III (commonly known as 50 Cent) tried to complain about his grandmother when she made him take the garbage out:
“I can’t believe my grandmothers making me take Out the garbage I’m rich f—k this I’m going home I don’t need this s—t.”
His tweet proved that he is not a better grandson and he was truly surprised by the reaction of his fans. This story trended on social media for a very long time.
24. Arnold Schwarzenegger Wields a Knife
The ex-Californian Governor posted a 27-second long video clip on Twitter in which he had a two-foot-long knife and this video message was posted to thank the followers for their budget-balancing ideas as the state tried to fix a $26 billion deficit.
23. Fan Level: Mark Cuban
Though Mark Cuban is not the owner of the Dallas Mavericks. he is the team’s biggest fan and has been in trouble several times due to his careless arguments. He was fine worth $ 25,000 in 2009 after he tweeted:
“how do they not call a tech on JR Smith for coming off the bench to taunt our player on the ground?” To which he responded, “Can’t say no one makes money from twitter now. The NBA does.”
22. Beyonce’s Photoshopped Curves
A photo popped up on Beyonce’s Tumbler feed and caught the attention of internet Photoshop detectives right away. The poor Photoshop touch-up was so obvious thanks to the funky stuff going on with her left arm that almost all major online publishers noticed and pointed it out.
21. Joseline’s Twitter Binge
Although Joseline Hernandez claimed that her Twitter account was compromised some of the shared pictures depicting domestic violence showed an uncanny resemblance with her face and her hacked account claim didn’t convince her followers much.
20. Madonna’s Questionable Parenting Moment
Madonna faced a lot of trouble when she posted a picture of her 13-year-old son along with his pals captioning “The party’s just begun”, with liquor bottles in their hands.
Her son was simply too young to have drugs.
19. Call Me! Love, Charlie
Intending to send his number to Justin Bieber, Charlie Sheen publicly tweeted it to Biebs. It taught him a big lesson to be more discreet about phone numbers after he received non-stop calls for days.
18. Jessica Wright’s Sympathies
Given the fact that the North Korean leader was a dictator, very few people were sympathetic to his death in 2011.
But, to much surprise, Jessica Wright tweeted: “Rest in Peace.” – which resulted in a nasty backlash from her followers.
17. Brandi Glanville Posted A Profanity Filled Email
During the conflagration between Eddie Cibrian, his wife LeAnn Rimes, and his ex Brandi Glanville, Brandi posted a very offensive old email that she sent to Cibrian once. Since it didn’t help her much and received criticism, she took it down later on and tweeted:
“I am taking email down I was in defense mode.”

While trying to send it to her fiancé, she accidentally tweeted her topless picture publicly. Luckily her fiance replied hilariously calling her a “dork.”

15. Naomi Broady And David Rice
After they posted pictures (one shown above) of eating junk food and getting drunk on their Facebook profiles, The Lawn Tennis Association suspended both the young English tennis stars.
The photo captioning, “Me drunk for a change” caught public attention and caused a major public outcry.
14. Kris Jenner’s Wonder Woman Costume
The 56-year-old Kris Jenner gained a lot of attention when she tweeted a picture of herself in a Wonder Woman costume. She was unable to notice that her top showed off more than what she expected. She tweeted later:
“Jeeeez what’s all the fuss about?!!! It’s just an innocent nip slip, happens to the best of us,”
13. Spike Lee Tweets Fake George Zimmerman Address
Spike Lee was in trouble after he tweeted an address that he considered fake but turned out to be valid. He not only apologized to the family but also ended up compensating William George Zimmerman after they were harassed. He tweeted:
“I deeply apologize to the McClain family for re-tweeting their address.”
12. Kim Kardashian’s Confused Stance
Her attempt to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict went wrong in November 2012 she wrote:
“Praying for everyone in Israel!”
After one of the followers bashed her for supporting Israel she quickly responded “praying for everyone in Palestine.” Shortly she removed both of her tweets and apologized publicly.
11. Rob Kardashian Pretends he is Enrolled in Law School
Even though he didn’t apply for Law School at the University of Southern California, he pretended on Twitter that he was excited to attend the school and tweeted with the hashtag #UniversityfouthernCal.”
The university tweeted later:
“Rob Kardashian isn’t coming here, but we’re glad he’s a Trojan fan”
10. Ochocinco Tweeted During the Game
He was charged with a penalty of $25,000 for using an electronic device and posting tweets in the middle of a pre-season game. After apologizing publicly in his earlier statement he later tweeted:
“I’ve been fined by the league a substantial amount of money for tweeting, 1st time twitter hasn’t made me money but cost me money.”
9. Ashton Kutcher’s Meager Knowledge
Ashton turned over his Twitter account to a media management company after he unknowingly tweeted in support of the popular football coach Joe Paterno, who was involved in a child abuse scandal, and received a lot of criticism.
8. Kenneth Cole’s Egypt Gaffe
An attempt at self-marketing by the famous fashion designer went wrong when he tweeted this during the recent Egyptian revolution days:
“Millions are in uproar in #Cairo. Rumor is they heard our new spring collection is available online.”
He publicly apologized for the tweet later on.
