Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is definitely among the top ten must-see places. This building is a famous national landmark situated in the center of Manhattan. The Empire State Building has been the tallest building in the entire world for many years. From 1931 until the construction of the World Trade Center in 1972, the Empire State Building was the highest one in the entire world. And though today this building is not the highest in the world, after 9/11 it is the highest one in NYC.
If you visit the 86th, or the 102nd floor observatories, you will have a great view and you will explore the city of New York from one of the most remarkable skyscrapers there.
The Statue of Liberty
One of the landmarks that are most popular in NYC is the Statue of Liberty. This colossal statue was actually a gift from France and it was built in 1886. The statue stands on the Liberty Island on the New York Harbor; the statue is a welcoming view for all the visitors who come to NYC.
