Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.  Do you have plans?  Looking for fun and romantic things to do on Valentine’s Day? Here are ten awesome things to do on Valentine’s Day.

 

Serve Breakfast in Bed

There is no better way to wake up in the morning than being served a delicious home-made breakfast in bed.  Treat your spouse to something special.

Serve toast, eggs, heart-shaped pancakes, tea or coffee along with a newspaper or magazine in bed. Delicious!

 

Go to a Museum or Art Gallery

Looking for something to do that is a little more refined?   How about a trip to the local museum or art gallery?

Many museums and galleries have special showings on Valentine’s Day so check out your local newspaper to see what is going on in the community and then head out to one of the best museums or galleries your city has to offer.

 

Write a Poem or Love Letter

This may sound cheesy but who doesn’t love to have a poem or love letter written on his or her behalf?

If you are not really wordy then just make a top ten list of all the things you love about your Valentine!

 

Go for a Walk on the Beach or in the Park

Go to the beach or a local park and go for a romantic walk with your Valentine. If you want to up the romantic ante then bring along a blanket and a picnic basket with a bottle of champagne, some cheese, strawberries and chocolate.

Surprise your Valentine by making his or her favorite meal. Go all out and prepare dinner and dessert. Don’t forget to decorate the table for Valentine’s Day as well – candles, a red table cloth and some decorative plates will create a romantic mood that your Valentine will love.

 

Romantic Movie Marathon

Buy or rent some of the most romantic movies of all time and then spend the evening watching romantic movies. Have a romantic movie marathon.

Pick the movies yourself or get your Valentine to pick them. Have pink popcorn, sparkling cranberry Spritzer and some delicious chocolate truffles and celebrate Valentine’s Day.

There are plenty of things to do on Valentine’s Day.  Host a party, go dancing, go to the theater, make dinner, make breakfast in bed or simply write a beautiful love letter.
