The famous New York-based micro-blogging platform Tumblr, on Friday, surpassed 10 billion posts in total and it has now 28.45 million blogs with over 36 million posts per day. Just a year back Tumblr struck one billion postmarks in mid-June and 6.5 billion total posts in total.
Tumblr has now reached 13.4 million unique visitors in the U.S. (in July). The quantity of daily posts each day is rising just as it looks like to be the case with traffic to Tumblr’s website. By temporarily displaying digital pink, yellow, purple and red confetti on its users’ dashboards the company Tumblr celebrated the occasion.
Tumblr is rumored to be in the midst of boosting a substantial funding round that could cost it around $800 million. Moreover, news of its abiding success could even drown out current complaints from displeased fashion marketers.
