Osama Bin Laden’s son currently named as the Crown Prince of Terror may be at large after fleeing the US assault on his father’s secret compound. It is feared that Osama Bin Laden’s youngest son, who, according to some sources, fled during the raid on Osama’s compound might be plotting revenge.
Hamza Bin Laden, 20, was being groomed by his father to succeed him as the head of Al-Qaeda. He first appeared in a jihadist film, clutching a rifle at the age of 15.
US forces thought they had eliminated him in their raid on Bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan. But it later emerged that he had been confused with his brother Khalid, 22. Three of bin Laden’s wives also told Pakistani interrogators that Hamza has not been seen since the raid last Monday.
According to intelligence sources, Hamza was bin Laden’s closest confidante and brainwashed into terror acts in his early teens. A security source said: “This young man could be extremely dangerous because of who he is, and because of what he knows. If he has gone missing he will be fired up with the desire for revenge and held up as a figurehead for the entire al-Qaeda franchise.
