Given the sheer amount of daily worldwide internet usage and an exploding size of the user base of various social media services, the internet today is the very first target for any brand which plans to make its presence felt among the already established ones. Facebook alone has 750 million users and brand popularity on Facebook alone can really make a win-win situation for a company. When other popular social services like Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube etc are taken into account then the envelope pushes further to an unmatched level.
That much already said, according to a new survey of 1,897 senior executives conducted by Weber Shandwick in partnership with Forbes Insights, a very large majority (84%) of brand executives still believes that their brand’s sociability has still a large room for improvement – which intern indicates a very bright future for social media.
Weber Shandwick has produced an infographic to help new brands plan their social media activities across all mediums as sociability is nowadays the most important aspect that drives a brand’s reputation.
