Basically, you will be prompted to choose among three account types. There is a personal account that is meant for individuals. This is for people interested in online shopping. There is a premier account. This is for people interested in buying and selling products online.
The third type of a Paypal account is a business account. This is meant for merchants and they use business names in their accounts. Choose the account you want to open and continue with the process.
