The Call of Duty XP event has ended in Los Angeles and plenty of information on Multiplayer gameplay of Infinity Ward’s upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is out now. A number of MW3 gameplay videos have also been shown at the event to tease the fans before the game is finally released to the public on 8th of November. Before the game’s official release, Call of Duty fans might want to brush up on their skills by having a go with an Aim trainer that could ensure that they’ll be finishing top of every single leaderboard come November 8th.

Here’s what has been revealed by Activision:

Kill Streaks:

Killstreaks are no longer what they used to mean in previous CODs as now in MW 3 they have been replaced with “Strike Packages”. In MW3 kills are not the only way of earning those in-game rewards. In this new completely redesigned system the rewards are based around a “Pointstreak Progression” system.

Players will now be able to choose packages based on their playstyle and would get rewarded according to their playing style rather than just several kills in a row without dying.

There are three Strike Packages to choose from:

mw 3 strike packages

1 – Assault Strike Package:

This strike package offers exactly the same old system in which you get killstreak rewards. Streak resets once you die. The rewards include:

4 kills: Care Package – Airdrops a random killstreak or ammo
5 kills: Predator Missile – A remote control missile
5 kills: Sentry Gun – Airdrops a placeable sentry gun
5 kills: I.M.S. – It detects and eliminates all enemies in sight
6 kills: Precision Airstrike – Calls in a precision airstrike

12 kills: Pave Low – Calls in a heavily armored assault helicopter
15 Kills: Juggernaut – Receive an advanced armor via care package
17 Kills: Osprey Gunner – Control the gun of an Osprey delivering several care packages

2 – Support Strike Package:

The strike package is for defensive players and gives rewards for playing defensively (returning the flag etc.) instead of simply getting a stream of kills. The streak does not reset once you die. The rewards include:
