Drunk Man Arrested For Biting a Pet Python

54 years old David Senk was arrested on Thursday evening and taken into custody by the police in Sacramento, California for biting a pet python of an acquaintance. He was arrested when the police found him totally dead to the world and unconscious with blood on his face. It was later revealed that the man started an unprovoked attack on the snake, who was 4 feet long, after the allowance of its owner to hold it.

When Senk in a jailhouse interview was asked why he might have bitten the animal, he said:

“I feel horrible as hell about it, I get drunk, I get crazy. I don’t know. I’ve been an alcoholic for a long time.”

Although he got arrested for illegally maiming and butchering a reptile it is not yet confirmed whether he would face charges or not.

The Sacramento policeman Sgt Pettit told:

“There was nothing to indicate that the snake provoked him at all, he just out of the blue took a bite.”

The good thing is that the pet snake python is breathing and is still alive, nonetheless the animal underwent serious surgery on Friday after losing several ribs in the attack.

Senk also said he had no recollection of the incident as he blacked out but now feels really terrible about it.
