Feeling jealous of seeing your friends showing off their smartphones capable of snapping 3D panoramic photos? No need to worry anymore because Microsoft is very well aware of its dedicated fans’ emotions and to prove that it cares, the billion-dollar company has done something interesting about it. If you are one of the owners of a Windows Phone handset, then you are in for a stroke of luck because Microsoft has officially released its very own Photosynth application.
For those who are not aware of “Photosynth”, it is an awesome free software developed by Microsoft that is capable of impressively forming 3D panoramas from the 2D photographs taken – so much for the professional photographers’ delight. Pretty much like the technicality of Instagram application and panoramic applications, the individual photographs taken by the Windows Phone owner can later be combined together to create a perfect 3D panoramic photo.
It is true that Microsoft Phone has a far less number of applications when compared to iOS or Android, but with this new application, one can safely judge that all of that is about to change as it is just a matter of time that Microsoft makes a stand and starts pouring out the app of its own. Talking about the app, like Facebook, Twitter or any other social networking site for that matter, the app grants the ability to share it with your homies and as Photosynth has a website of its own, you can also freely share your 3D panoramic images with anyone.
The thrill of the panoramic experience is limited to Windows Phone 7.5 Mango or beyond. Unfortunately, if it is not Mango, then settle for disappointment.
So what are you waiting for? Download it and unleash your panoramic creativity.
