Can you tell exactly which browser version are you using? I bet the answer to this question is no longer the way it used to be, thanks to the rapid development and release cycle adopted by the industry. Not much to your surprise Mozilla, has yet again, released a new version of its popular browser to the public aka Mozilla Firefox 11. This new version comes after less than 6 weeks of the previous version and yet offers some improvements and new features.
The update was not officially announced until today but it was available beforehand yesterday via Mozilla’s servers. Not many details are known about the improvements at the moment but you can experience:
- better 2D/3D graphics
- a newly added CSS style editor
- Java APIs performance enhancements
- improved HTML 5 support
- increased browsing performance
- improved rendering of games (browser-based)
- added functionality of importing bookmarks from Google Chrome
Firefox 11 supports most of the ‘add-on’s supported by Firefox 10, therefore, you wouldn’t find any trouble upon upgrading to the new version (which we recommend).
