Just before two weeks of the official launch of Modern Warfare 3, Infinity Ward has pushed forward a brand new launch trailer for MW 3. The MW3 is the latest installment of the ever popular COD series which up until now has never faced any true competition. However, things are really different this time as Dice has challenged MW series with its mighty Battlefield 3 - which is currently out in the beta and has already been proclaimed by many as a true ‘COD Killer‘.

Nonetheless given the strong fan base of Modern Warfare series the game upon its release is expected to shatter all of the previous records of its franchise. The very previous game in the COD franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops,  shook the whole gaming industry by accumulating $360 million on its very first day of the release (a total of 5.6 million copies were sold on the first day). Although, the previous installment in the Modern Warfare series, Modern Warfare 2 has got 22 million of its copies sold since its launch in November 2009.

Just a month ago, to somewhat nullify the fearsome hype of Battlefield 3, Activision held a 48 hour gaming convention titled ‘Call of Duty XP’ in L.A. The event was marked by the performance of Kanye West on the closing day.

MW3 will hit the stores on Nov 8 for PC (rumored), Xbox 360 and PS 3 and now without any further delay here’s the official launch trailer of Modern Warfare 3:
