After a recent information leak by gaming blog kotaku about the next installment of Call of Duty franchise, Infinity Ward has decided to shed some official light on the company’s next upcoming blockbuster by releasing a new teaser trailer confirming Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The short 34 second short formal announcement video shows no actual gameplay footage and showcases a New York skyline hinting it to be possible battlefield location in the MW3. The teaser trailer closes with a Russian accent exclaiming “One will destroy the enemy’s hope of victory”.

According to the information leaked by gaming blog Kotaku yesterday, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will hit the stores on November 8th 2011. The site also revealed some images and story line related to the game. Infinity Ward has made no comments on these leaks but Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward’s creative strategist, tweeted:

“A lot of hype & a lot of leaked info on #MW3, some still accurate, some not. To avoid spoiling the experience, I’d wait for the real reveal.”

More Modern Warfare 3 info is expected when it will be showcased at this year’s E3.
