DICE has unveiled the minimum and recommended system requirements for its upcoming next installment of Battlefield franchise and not to much surprise, the required specs for running BF3 smoothly are quite beefy.

Minimum System Requirements:

• Hard Drive Space: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
• OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
• Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
• RAM: 2 GB
• Video Card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card

Recommended System Requirements:

• Hard Drive Space: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
• OS: Windows 7 64-bit
• Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
• RAM: 4 GB
• Video Card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, GeForce GTX 460, Radeon Radeon HD 6850

Battlefield 3 is due for release on 25th of October on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and BF3 beta is slated to be released on Sep 29th.
