Angelina Jolie Sued For Plagiarism

One man who isn’t glad to hear about the forthcoming release of Angelina Jolie’s new movie In The Land of Blood and Honey, is Croatian author James Braddock, who is seeking a court order to prevent its release. Jolie is accused of plagiarizing the story of two lovers meeting in the chaos of the Bosnian civil war from Braddock’s book, The Soul Shattering. Braddock, who was born Josip Knežević, claims that he was approached in 2007 whilst in Bosnia by Edin Sarkic, Angelina Jolie’s executive producer, who was anxious to discuss options on making a film of the book.
