The news of 25 years old actress Lindsay Lohan‘s agreement with the popular men’s magazine Playboy to show off her all assets in its upcoming January/February 2012 issue, really took the industry by surprise. The troubled actress reportedly got $1 million for the shoot which would have definitely given her the financial stability she have been wishing after a number of trips to rehabilitation center and the court. Although the world waits for Playboy’s official issue featuring Lindsay’s semi-nude pics – the cover of the issue has already hit the internet.

The “Mean Girls” actress, to much surprise, looks fabulous and by posing for Playboy has joined the list of some big Hollywood names that posed for the same magazine – which include Drew Barrymore, Joan Collins, Charlize Theron, Sharon Stone, and Marilyn Monroe.

The public response however has been mixed as majority call it a mere publicity stunt.The actress indeed didn’t get any new project after Machete (2010) until quite recently when she got Underground Comedy (2012). Lindsay’s television and music profile too got reduced to almost nothing.

Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan told The Insider in an interview about a month ago:

“Lindsay does not go full-frontal in the pictorial. It will be tastefully done. She’s been working in front of the camera with Ford Models since she was a little girl so she kinda knows how to work that.” 

Lindsay is reportedly quite excited and hopes that Playboy could turn the tide for her.
